Thourough background checks for airlines?

i used to work for ups also and i currently work for fedex (airlines) at the airport. in addition to the checks you mentioned here, they also do an additional check if you handle or have access to u.s. mail and fedex does a lot of mail. you didn't say what your charges were, were they felonies? i doubt if you'll be hired, fedex is pretty strict on stuff like this. the best thing to do, if you are called for an interview, tell them first thing about these problems, if your charges were fairly minor you might have a chance, but if they're felonies no. good luck.
