Legal Question about a psychiatrists prescription?

I have been prescribed a high dose of Percocet from my psychiatrist. It was prescribed to me for depression. Now I am addicted to them and my depression is worse than ever. Now I am forced to check into drug rehab and my panic attacks are more severe and happen more than ever. Does anyone know the legalities in this manor? Anybody have advice on this matter. I am not out to make a lot of money in a law suit but I am very angry and upset that all this was added to my problem. Thank you. -Lee
